The CP2100 series is a new design current clamp probe that can measure both DC and AC currents over two ranges, DC up to 100A peak. It features an active amplifier head design with relay switching in the head for the two ranges. Beware of cheaper design that do not have an active head amplifier. The CP2100B is the highest performance bang-per-buck current probe on the market.
It uses a standard BNC connector for direct connection to oscilloscopes to view current waveforms. Conveniently powered from the USB interface on your oscilloscope.
